BOI performs planning study analyses and reviews in conformance with Regulations, Principals, and Guidelines of Corps Continuing Authorities and General Investigations and other programs. This work shall include review and analysis of documents for compliance with the Water Resources Development Act, Rivers, and Harbors Act of 1899, Endangered Species Act. National Historic Preservation Act, Clean Water Act, Marine Protection Research and Sanctuaries Act and National Environmental Policy Act, other Federal laws, regulations, Executive Orders, Southwestern state and local environmental policy regulations, and specialized reports on specific resources, engineering, planning, or environmental issues. Planning documentation could include socio-economic, historic, archeological, as well as natural resource evaluations.
